how to remove tea stains from stainless steel?
#1
I've noticed some tea stains on my stainless steel teapot. Does anyone have a reliable method for cleaning it?

Baking soda and water mixed into a paste works well for me. Just scrub gently with a non-abrasive cloth.

I've found vinegar to be really effective. It's acidic enough to break down the stains without damaging the stainless steel.

Thanks, both sounds plausible. Do I need to rinse it thoroughly afterwards?

Yes definitely, you don't want any residue of baking soda or vinegar left on your steel.

Same here, a good rinse and a wipe down with a clean dry cloth should do.
