what are the benefits of using cast stainless steel pan lids?

Hi all, recently I've come across a variety of stainless steel pan lids that are cast. Are they better than the standard ones? Appreciate your feedback.

But do note, they are generally more expensive than regular pan lids, keep that in mind.
