We've had success with mechanical polishing in addition to electropolishing. It adds an extra step, but the results are worth it, especially for high-end cookware. Good question,. Quality control is critical. We conduct thorough inspections at each stage of the process: mold inspection, in-process inspection during casting, and final inspection after finishing. Non-destructive testing (ndt) methods like X-ray or ultrasonic testing can be very effective for detecting internal defects that aren't visible on the surface.
