hello everyone, I've recently started a project and have been using stainless steel pocket screws. I've been casting them myself and was wondering if anyone else has had experience doing this? Any tips or tricks you've come across, or any particular challenges?

i've tried my hand at casting pocket screws before. It's a bit tricky but once you get the hang of it, I find that they're really durable. The stainless steel material just seems to hold up better under pressure in the long run.

agreeing here, stainless steel pocket screws definitely show superior endurance. One downside I noticed, however, is that the casting process can be more time-consuming compared to other methods.

that's right. Plus, stainless steel can be tough to cast as it requires high temperatures. However, the result is usually worth the effort in my experience. --
