Has anyone tried using stainless steel as a planter for Heuchera?
#1
I've had success before with other plants using stainless steel planters, and I'm wondering if it would work well for Heucheras too. Any thoughts?

I've heard that heucheras require good drainage. While stainless steel planters can look nice, they can sometimes lead to waterlogged soil which isn't good for these plants.

I've actually used a stainless steel planter before but I drilled a few holes in the bottom for drainage. My heuchera has been doing well. Just make sure you provide proper care for it.

Just make sure it does not get too hot in the summer, as it could damage the roots.
