I own a set and I have to say, it's absolutely worth it. They distribute heat evenly and do not wear out easily.

I agree. They are also low maintenance, since they are dishwasher safe and resist rust and staining.

I like the cookware sets from brand All-clad and Cuisinart. They have a range of options and pretty good reviews too.

I would suggest checking each brand's warranty too. Good brands usually offer lifetime warranties on their 18/10 stainless steel sets.
