Hi all, I was just wondering if a polished stainless-steel tube could significantly improve the casting process? Has anyone here tried it?
Absolutely, polishing stainless steel tubes can improve the surface finish, preventing unnecessary friction and subsequent wear & tear during the casting process .
I agree. From my experience, it does make a big difference, especially in maintaining the durability of the tools used in the process .
That's true. Plus, polished tubes are less likely to corrode, adding another layer of longevity. I have been using them in my workshop for two years and seen the improvements.
