Hi all, I'm trying out black stainless steel casting for an induction range project. Any recommendations and suggestions are much appreciated!
The most important thing I've learned is to ensure you're using the correct heat source. Induction heating is the best for black stainless steel.
Beyond the heat source, consider the type of mold you're using. Some materials work better with the high temperatures required for casting stainless steel.
Not exactly a tip, but I've found that with practice, it gets easier to understand what works and what doesn't. Keep trying and testing different methods!
