I've recently started experimenting with tumbler media casting and I am considering switching to stainless steel. Anyone who has experience with this?
I've been using a stainless steel tumbler for a while now. They last a long time and the results are pretty impressive.
Yeah, but they require proper maintenance and are more expensive than plastic or ceramic tumblers.
I think the price is worth it. The finish is usually smoother and more polished than with other materials.
It's a learning curve for sure, but once you get hang of it I think you would love the finish it delivers!
