Hey guys, recently come across stainless steel coffee pour over casting. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I have been using a stainless steel pour over for about a year now, and I must say it gives an unrivalled fresh coffee taste.
Yes, I agree. The taste of the coffee is crisper. Plus, stainless steel is more durable and heat-resistant as compared to glass or ceramic.
Interesting, what techniques do you guys use for pour over casting?
I usually start with pre-wetting the filter to get rid of the paper taste. Then, I follow the bloom, pour, and draw down phases.
That's a good technique. Also, using suitable grind size and maintaining proper water temperature is crucial to get that perfect taste!
