Just curious, how durable and efficient do you guys find stainless steel strainers used in casting?
I've been using stainless steel strainers for my casting projects and I'm extremely pleased. They tend to be much more durable and also exhibit less corrosion which is a huge plus.
That's true! Stainless steel strainers are heat resistant as well. It's such a versatile tool in casting.
I had a different experience - my strainer didn't perform very well in high pressure conditions though. Maybe it was just a bad batch?
It's possible,. I'd suggest checking the grade of your stainless steel, lower grade ones might not work as expected.
