Congrats on your purchase! I also have a stainless steel table and I usually clean it with a mixture of warm water and mild detergent, then dry it with a clean towel.
I agree. I'd avoid using any abrasive materials to prevent scratches. White vinegar is also great for removing streaks.
For stubborn stains, I've found that baking soda mixed with water works wonders. Just make sure to rinse the surface thoroughly and dry immediately.
