I've been using the same old rod holders for a while. I'm just wondering, what are the benefits of switching to stainless steel clamp-on rod holders?
They're superb because they're quite durable. Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion, especially important if you're fishing in salt water.
Also, the clamp on feature is handy. It makes for easy installation and removal without having to drill holes or permanently mount anything.
I completely agree with the above comments. I only use stainless steel rod holders now. They last longer and look sleek on my boat.
I've had mine for over a year now and despite regular use, they're as good as new. Highly recommend switching.
